RZE Endeavor - Is it tougher than the rest?
Rze Watches have followed up on the success of their first offering, the Resolute by plunging into the dive watch market with the Endeavor.
The Endeavor is built to last, constructed of UltraHex coated titanium, a proprietary coating which prevents scratches or oxidation. It’s ultra light but still gives a satisfying wrist presence. The entire case being subjected to a beadblasting finish which gives it a real modern tool watch feel.
The case design is angular and aggressive while remaining comfortable and familiar. It sits easily on your wrist with no sharp edges, the tapered bracelet adding to the overall comfort. The case design is built squarely upon the success of the Resolute. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
The dial has matte, textured finish with applied baton indexes and a healthy dose of BGW9 and C3 SuperLuminova. It completes the modern tool watch design of the Endeavor.
The Endeavor is powered by the Seiko NH38A movement, a no date, no day, cousin of the ubiquitous NH35A. It compliments the no nonsense approach RZE took to the Endeavor.
Currently on pre-sale, the Endeavor is offered for just over $400 USD. At that price it’s an unbelievable value. Titanium watches under $500 are few and far between. Add in the titanium bracelet and specs, and this may be one of the best budget titanium watches available.
If your looking for another Submariner knock-off, or a Vintage inspired re-issue the Endeavor is not for you. If your looking for an original, aggressive and damn well built dive watch, do your self a favour and check out the RZE Endeavor. And you had better not wait, because they’re selling like hot cakes.
