The Parkingmaster is the first watch from Vanbanner Watches. LV is the owner of Vanbanner, and when his printing business took some hard knocks thanks to Covid he dug deep and embraced his love of watches and brought us the Parkingmaster.

The Parkingmaster is a fun take on what most of us use our bezels for, not timing dives that’s for sure. While it’s fun take on the everyday, does the Parkingmaster deliver the goods?

The countdown bezel gives the Parkingmaster its name, but for me the dial is most eye catching aspect of this watch. The dial is a rich blue with sunburst effect featuring high quality applied indices, the custom hands and font add further refinement and originality. The Parkingmaster has a healthy dose of lume, with BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the bezel, hands and dial, this beauty will glow well into the night. Sitting atop the dial is a piece of flat sapphire crystal, complete with a healthy dose of AR coating.

The 316L stainless steel case is covered with a matte black PVD coating. The angular lines and flat sides of the case give it a unique but familiar feel. The dimensions are thoroughly wearable, making this a solid choice for most wrist sizes.

Powering the Parkingmaster is the NH38, the no date version of the omnipresent NH35. It’s a workhorse movement, reliable with hacking, handwinding and a decent power reserve.
